There’s no shortage of strategy in business. I’ve seen it in boardrooms, management off-sites, planning sessions, and many beautifully designed PowerPoint decks. Vision statements. Three-year plans. Pillars. Roadmaps. All of it was thoughtfully discussed and genuinely well-intentioned. And yet, by Monday morning, something goes off the rails. Not because the strategy was wrong, but because no one is quite sure what actually changes at 8:02 a.m. when the emails start coming in
