About the founder

I’m Brent Smith, founder of VisionSmith Management, and I’ve built this consultancy on one simple belief: strategy only matters if it leads to execution, and execution only matters if it delivers real results, aligned with the strategy.
With over 20 years in significant roles across fuels marketing, branded retail operations, logistics, and franchising. I’ve worked inside some of Canada’s largest and fastest-growing organizations. I’ve led and developed high-performing teams, negotiated complex agreements, integrated acquisitions, optimized processes and operations, and built systems that work in the real world.
Today, I help owners, franchisees, dealers, executives, and leadership teams with customized plans to help get a clear consensus on their vision, align their operations to this vision, prepare for growth, or get deals and projects across the finish line.
